OK, this is creepy. Twitter is up, but Google (including Gmail, Reader, Calendar, iGoogle, etc.) is down. Is the world ending?

Every year, as soon as the temperature gets above 80 degrees, someone drowns or disappears swimming in the Sandy river. WTF?
Someone just walked by in JF1, on his cell phone, shouting and cursing at someone. He's in the lobby, and I can still hear him yelling. :-O

Now it's time to selectively restore some stuff from Time Machine. Some of it's going to a new permanent home in the cloud.
Hey, Twitter is back! My MBP rebuild went just fine. I was done by the end of lunch, now (almost) all my apps are reinstalled.

Repartitioned (no turning back!) and installing now (minus a few gigs of translation files I don't need).

Almost ready to pave my MBP and reinstall Leopard. Going to aim for putting ALL of my docs, etc. online (GDocs, Flickr, Blip, etc.).

Holy crap. My iPhoto Library is over 17GB. Sure, I have over 6000 photos in there, but dang!
